Ahhhhh. Freshy Bloggy

OK so Brenna (the love of my life) has really inspired me to start blogging.   I was just bugging her to post my pics, but now we both will have avenues on the inter-web to express our creativity.

I'm just gonna jump right into it.  This is a Fluorite crystal that I found in city limits last sunday.   I was on my dinner break with my co-worker and friend Scott when I asked him to pull the car to the side of the road to inspect a rock wall area that I had briefly explored about a year ago.   Well after about a few 10 minutes i found this beauty.

some of the iron stains still need to be removed.  But since fluorite can be very fragile I'm hesitant to use anything strong.  Any suggestions?
